Train London to Alicante

I went by train on 9th April 2014 to Spain. This meant getting a local train from home to Vauxhall, then the tube to Kings Cross/St Pancras, EuroStar train from there to Paris and then meto from Gare du Nord to Gare du Lyon, TGV from there to Barcelona, then a RENFE train from there to Alicante.
At St Pancras station in London, where the Eurostar trains now depart from (I wish they had stayed at Waterloo, much nicer) there is a public piano, so I played a few tunes on that.
I was pleased and surprised to see a public piano at Gare du Lyon in Paris, so I also played on that and nearly missed my Barcelona train!. That is not me playing in the picture
The piano at Gare du Lyon
The piano at Gare du Lyon was in better conditoin that the one at St Pancras and had 3 pedals.

Before heading onto the Metro to travel from Gare du Nord to Gare du Lyon I took a look outside Gare du Nord, alas not much had changed since my last visit, some one was urinating against the station wall, a beggar came up to me hoping for some money, I soon returned inside.
The environment outside Gare du Lyon much nicer.
